How does one review a blue watering can? It is a watering can. It is blue. It waters. There is this little spout (completely removable and storable on the rim of the can right next to the handle) where water comes from, you can remove it to water directly to the root. It has a low pressure and a slow stream pout so it makes it easy on seedlings and crawling verbenas (the bright red type), transplants that are still wilting, and rooting cuttings. There is a grip on the handle (I don't know what the fuzz is all about), the goose neck swivels which makes it ok while you bring that rain water or walk through your hallway to/fro faucet in the kitchen, or because we can't move around the plants most of the time. Indoors, I am not one to be happy with watering cans, ever. I only use it to bring a can of rain water from outdoors (that I have collected). Inside, I transfer the water to an empty wine bottle in the kitchen sink and use the wine bottle to water my houseplants with a wine pourer. That's the only way I can make sure no water drips outside the pots. My plants are right above book cases and near electric plugs. One drop of water and I am in trouble. The can still gets a five-star for being stylish and one can see that a lot of efforts have gone into its design. The wine bottle is still what I prefer indoors because I can move it around the plant and water thoroughly because of wine bottles are slim, but that's just my preference.

Easy to hold, but a little heavy when full. Gives a nice steady flow of water without disturbing the soil around the plant. Easy to store with swivel spout. Doesn't take up too much room.

I was trying to find a good balance between too many runs to the sink with a small watering can, and a can too heavy to use easily. This one strikes an excellent balance for me. That the spout can be turned in for easier storage is terrific. I was actually concerned that the junction where the spout turns would leak, but I've had no problem with that whatsoever. The transparent spout and clear area on the can that show water level are also very helpful.

I have carpal tunnel syndrome and some arthritis, both of which can create problems with gripping things for any length of time.... and as is usual with OXO products, I find the handle very easy to hold and not at all stressful on my fingers and wrist. Another example of truly functional design from OXO.

When I finally got this watering can in the mail it was missing the actual spout that is on the tip of the watering nozzle. Other than that it's a good size, but a little smaller than what I used before.
